Educators are critical to the success of our future diverse generations of students. Those who are equipped to master these diverse relationships will enjoy much greater levels of success while at the same time reducing the risk of needlessly alienating or offending people under their influence. The ability to work with parents, students, and colleagues of diverse cultures is a necessary skill in the education sector.
Culturally relevant innovation can only happen through educational leaders and teachers who have truly mastered the ability to manage diverse relationships. By becoming a Cultural Master, you will exponentially increase student engagement, academic achievement, and parent/community involvement. In addition, learning and applying the principles of cultural mastery will help retain students and staff, while decreasing data relating to discipline referrals.
